You can try to buy vintage stacking bases on Ebay - usually they are quite cheap, altho shipping can get a little expensive as they are larger than normal bases. You can go through Modernica or HumeModern to relocate the shockmounts.
Personally I prefer things as original as possible, and there is a certain charm in the old stacking style bases 🙂 Good luck!
