I bought a great pair of 1960s TV chairs by Australian design icon Fred Lowen-they are Fler brand. They are in almost perfect original condition, including the green slightly stripy covers. .I initially thought to have them recovered, but am now having second thoughts-the fabric-a nubbly sort of wool-is in very good shape. I would appreciate advice and opinion-I am new to collecting mid-century.
Sorry, I can't figure out how to upload a picture.

They're just everywhere up here, many similar ones too...they're ok, good fun and comfortable but I think they'd be far more pleasing if recovered if the bulked up bit of foam meant to provide more head support was shaved off to make a straight line or a taper.
When they are re-polished and re-upholstered they really can come up well, losing the piping on the backrest improves things too.

Here are the same chairs as mine
Thank you all for your responses. Here is a link to a store with exactly the same chairs as mine. As I mentioned, mine look as though they are almost unused-but the cushioning does need replacing and I have already had the foam cut for the base cushion-unfortunately the back foam is crumbly and will need to be replaced as well.
