Replaced our 4 teak Erik Buch 49’s with a set of 6 in rosewood. They are in amazing shape and upholstery was redone at some point by someone who knew what they were going! Foam is a little soft for my liking so considering switching the seats/backs with the ones from our teak set 🤷🏼‍♂️

Also bought this vintage anti war poster by Lorriane Schneider. Just need to get a black light to see it in all its glory!

I got waffle iron in extremely good shape by Sixten Sason for Husqvarna. He also designed the very first SAAB car, model 001. Cool how a designer's touch can be so obvious in two completely different objects.

Thanks, @objectworship ! Found this 1982 Lithograph “Sitting Duck” By Michael Bedard recently as well. It hasn’t gone over as well as the anti war poster 😆

I picked up a fabulous pair of Sigvard Bernadotte tilt cane back chairs, they need a bit of tlc but they are so nice. Labeled France & Son and Illums Bolighus Copenhagen. This is the first really lovely find I’ve had in ages!

Every now and then something nice comes along! I did pay more than I wanted, the seller knew what they were, but I couldn’t pass them by, especially when their likes don’t come along too often! The foam is crispy and both backrests keep coming off so I’ll need to figure that out. I’m going to have a look and see if I can date the France & Son medallion!

So apparently this France & Son medal dates from around 1957, around the time these chairs were designed by Sigvard Bernadotte, a Prince of Sweden who has his title stripped from him when he married a commoner. I like the chairs even more now.....
