Is this really a vintage Eames lounge chair?

Thanks for all the responses! If anyone has an opinion about how much a full restoration--new shock mounts, wood repair and refinishing, new upholstery--should cost, I'd love to know. I trust the guys I've hired to do a great job (they've done work for me before), just want to know if I'm getting a deal or not. They've said $1500-2000 for the chair and ottoman both.

Is it Rosewood?

had the same prob myself
found a chair also very sun faded
wasnt sure if it was rosewood
so i just removed the base from the chair and ottoman
which reveaed the original colouring and condition of the wood
in my case - no doubting it was rosewood
