Sorry to hear about your experience, I hope you find a way to retrieve your loss and the scammers get caught.

Ever since I noticed the "not secure" in front of the site's name when using a desktop or the absence of the locked padlock symbol in front of the sites name using an iphone several years ago, I had refrained from posting identifiable images of our house, personal information that could be linked directly to me like an email address or giving a hint of my exact location in this site. Scammers are getting smarter these days that most posters are unknowingly giving away answers to security questions just by deciphering information from their posts. I hope DA fixes this issue.

Does it happen to anybody else that when opening the design addict webpage another page opens instead, claiming that you won a certain amount of money ? I can post a screenshot if needed, if it happens again. Usually, by clicking on the link again, the design addict webpage becomes accessible again.

Dear Lucy,

We just talked on the phone about this issue and we are sorry for this bad experience...

Unfortunately, Design Addict is not responsible because the scammer has hacked the email address of Judith (VisaVu Design) and not our site. We really hope that the police will find the hacker and that you will be refunded.

Design Addict website is already secure and we will continue to improve the protection of your personal data.

In the coming months, we will also provide a secure payment service for clients and vendors.

Design Addict Team

Ernest, I've gotten that annoying scam pop-up on another site but never on DA. I've never clicked on it so I can't say what happens with it but i know there's no way to close it other than shutting down that browser tab. It seems to happen mostly (only?) on my phone, not my laptop.

Oh, that scam pop-up. Yes, I have that all the time I visit DA, claiming that I have been chosen and can win an Iphone or whatever. This is as much annoying as the look-for-cars-or-bicycles-or-street-signs-game. But it even makes less sense. And now: find the cars.
