please help warren platner chair copy or original

I was wondering if anyone could please help me. I've seen a pair of warren platner arm chairs for sale but don't know if they are copies or not??!! The fabric looks to be a velvet ,but on the underside of the cushion instead of the velvet continuing ,so that it's on both sides and having the knoll sticker or tag, these chairs have a fabric with the word knoll through it. Has anyone seen this before ???? Thanks Ali

I've never seen a knock-off of a Platner chair.
It's probably authentic. Post a picture.

I've now seen a knock-off Platner chair.
It's probably fake. Post a picture.

What you have described is what Knoll does and has done, so there is nothing unusual with the upholstery albeit as Mark said 'we're yet to see it'.
I had a Barcelona chair cushion upholstered the same.

thanks for all the help!!!! yeah the fakes are horrible , no matter how much i would love to own a platner piece i would rather wait then ever buy a copy !!! thanks again for everyones input , hugeky appreciated , abd sorry couldnt post a pic as i'm useless with technology !!!!
