I have an agent claiming I dented floorboards in a home and that claim they were done prior to my moving in and in pristine condition. Any floorboard experts out there that could look at the before and after pics I have of the fllorboards? The before are the ones I took on the day I handed the keys back, then 4 days received a letter from agent claiming dented all over floorboards.I then went back to view and have after pics showing differnce in the state of how they were left on the day I handed keys in. Anygody with advise please help. Thanks mitti

its fair wear and tear unless...
its fair wear and tear unless you're digging chisels into the floor or splashing paint on it I would quote the law.
This is Australian law but I'm sure you probabaly have something similar.

Are they threatening you
with a lawsuit? not returning your deposit?
Some agents can be unbelievably petty and unreasonable.
I don't where you're from but there must be some free legal adviser you can contact.
