As some of you might know, my wife and my new house was completed not long ago. We were asked to put our home in Austin's "Cool Homes Tour" and had a few photos taken by a local photographer. I thought I'd share.
Also, in a couple of weeks a new TV show called "This New House" (by the people from "This Old House") will be filming at my house for a program about the neighborhood I live in. I will let everyone know when this is to air.

Thanks guys. And we aren't completely done with the interior/exterior. The interior will receive a few painted walls and the kitchen will get a backsplash - just not sure what yet.
We're building a 4 foot slatted fence around the property too, for the kid and dog. We're using 4 feet to stay neighborly and the house is up on an incline so that it will actually appear to be a 3 foot!

The rocking horse was actually a present FROM my wife and I to some friends for their little boy. He has outgrown it and they asked that I use it for my boy for now! We'll probably swap back and forth and more kids show up...

Looks great. What are your floors made of?
One small request/ suggestion. Your Ib Kofod Larsen lounge chair is a great piece, please just remove the pillow (at least when it's not in use) as obscures the gap and it ruins the nice relationship between the seat and back.
I love the outdoor space, do you get use it more than the dining area in your climate?
