(Ignoring the last two threads)
The last 7 threads has been about Tuttle so I think Evans is a bit outdated at the moment since no one writes about him.
I learned about Paul Tuttle as I was browsing through Wright20's many online auction catalouges. I've never seen his postmodern furniture before I looked at the links you provided, dcwilson (thanks!). I like many of them. Interesting structures. I wouldn't have them in my home, except perhaps the Super Z/V chair, but I certainly appreciate and respect his effort to do things differently by creating his own laungage of shape, colour and choice of materials.
I think the coffee table, daybed, sofa and Zeta chairs from the previous auctions at Wright20 must be from his earlier days as a designer. You can see them and others at www.architonic.com/de/mus/8101405/1
I esp. like the daybed. I wouldn't mind having that my living room.
