I have an old papa bear chair - oak legs and paws - but the seat support is just a vertical webbing - not the crisscross I'm used to seeing. Does anyone know if Mobler or Stolen did this kind of seat webbing?

The webbing has most likely been changed along the way.
Not detrimental dependant on what the original has been substitued with.

If you're knowledgeable about this sort of thing, would you mind if I sent a couple of Jpegs showing the webbing and the underside of the chair where it appears a repair has been made.
