Hi Brnki
I don't know if you need it for an University exercise or to buy/do one for home.
But I remember some of them, in-door but were also for out door if I remember well.
Very minimalist, just a sheet of stainless steel with a hole a and the fire. Don't remember brand/nor designer now. Extremely contemporary I'd say Scandinavian. There were not just one, but about three/four of them all very interesting. (not working with wood, just gasoline or alcohol) I think.
I don't know how effective they were, but just the fire floating in the air was amazing.
I could'nt find an image, but link below has someting to do with the idea, but the ones I remember toooo much nicer.

thanks gustavo and patrick...
thanks gustavo and patrick 🙂
I'm doing this research because one company working with moulded concrete asked for some design at our university for outdoor fire-place - the modular one, that can be built from components...
I find it very interesting area, and althought I didn't specify it in this thread, It was very useful for me to check the variants you pointed at 🙂
especially the "floating fire" creates wonderful atmosphere.
