original Saarinen/Knoll Tulip armchair.  

Hey all. First time posting here. I've been looking for a furniture design forum for a bit now and just came upon this one.

I've been collecting chairs for only a little bit now, and I've recently come across an original Knoll Saarinen Tulip chair, fiberglass, with the orginal blue cushion. Its in decent shape, with one small chip out of the lip of the chair just beneath the cushion. It also has the old Knoll slab serif decal on the chair under the cushion.

I guess I was just curious what these chairs are worth these days, in both excellent and used condition, and if its worth it to try and refinish the chair. I quite like the "patina" ie, some of the finish worn off the arms showing the fiberglass beneath.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
