original to LCM chair??

I got this chair about 8 years ago from a dealer, was I naive to believe it was all original? Someone suggested that the foot glides are not correct to the date of the chair which is 1953.

Boot glides
It's hard to tell from the tiny photos, but they look right. An Eames LCM from 1953 should have black rubber slip on boot glides with stainless bottoms.

If you are using Webshots, follow these instructions:
1. Click on the picture you want to share with us.
2. Choose the option "link to it"
3. Select a picture size (425 pixel is the best size for DesignAddict)
4. Copy the "direct link to image"
5. Paste this link in the "associate web images" field

Can you post any bigger images of the shockmounts? It isn't uncommon at all for them to have been reglued/replaced at some point. I would personally point out if this had been done but 99% of people either don't know or choose not to say - unless it has been done badly then it's no big deal.

Not necessarily so. I've had DCMs and LCMs where the bottom around the shockmounts was unfinished and they were not altered, reworked or reglued. They were that way originally. Perhaps you can post more detailed photos?
