in terms of aesthetics
I much prefer the Eames lounger. It aint a classic for nothing. And it IS very comfortable. You should find a place to try one out and see for yourself. 😀

not a fan
I don't find the Ekornes chairs all that comfortable. They're not UNcomfortable---just not an "ahhhh!" experience for me. But you should try one for yourself.
One of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in is the Poang chair from IKEA. It has the perfect low back support for me and the angle of the seat and back is just perfect. I know of others who say the same thing about it.
I also don't like the design of the Ekornes bases. They're too clunky-looking for my taste.
You really just have to try a bunch of chairs yourself. What is comfy to one person may not work for someone else.

I haven't used one but I think that they are extremely unattractive.
