it was a fellow DA'r. Few and far between I think in my neck of the woods. i was even going to keep it (I have a fairly generic 50's oak institutional thingy as a desk). This one is going to hurt for a while

I missed out on a Ditzel desk once
went for £500 on eBay, I was hesitating.

Yep, my desk miss still hurts too.
I just think of the gems that I have found, and some of them far outweigh the misses. Thank god!
