Yes, a shame to lose such a valuable archive.

Hmmm. I once had hopes that they might be able to fix that, but I don't think they put much energy into solving that problem. It's very unfortunate to say the least.

Sad, but probably true.

Here's a thought; Would any of the current members ,who posted catalogues on the old Forum, have the time, energy or interest in reposting them? That is if you still have them? It might be just a small step but would be useful IMHO. Or find the original post ,using search function which still works, add a comment, etc: and bring it back to life. That is if the text is still there !! The "bots" seem to have no problem doing this 😉 

For what it's worth, I did receive the following response from DA this past Monday:   " I'll check it out".   I'd like to think that means they were unaware of the issue and will look into it, but not holding my breath.
