I found some interesting office furniture that looked like it could be nice from the tiny pictures, the owner said it looked scandinavian or perhaps german to him. The only pic I have now is the one below because he said he disassembled it all. it might be crap furniture but from the small craigs list pictures it is usually hard to tell.

I was wondering if anyone recognizes the pulls or might be able to point me in the right direction.

thanks!

I don't recognize it, but it does not look that nice to me. I think it is rather cheap quality by the look of the handles. And I don't know what you mean by it looks German. What does German furniture look like?
I would go and check it out before relying on one craigslist picture.

you must be joking,...
you must be joking, right?
there isn't even real wood involved here...
the chipboards are laminated, not veneered.
handles are cheap.
sigh...

Keep Looking
Not to be discouraging but It looks like run of the mill office furniture to me. The construction looks standard, the pulls are nothing special and the laminate...yuck. If you are in desperate need of something for your office and the price is right (cheap, cheap), I guess you could pick it up until you find something better. However, if you are looking for something with some character, and perhaps some design pedigree, then I would suggest you keep looking.

I see nothing
that tells me we're looking at printed wood grain. Perhaps viewers are being fooled by the edgebanding, which (on the top, anyway) may be plastic.
The grain on the two visible drawer fronts comes from the same veneer, but the panels are not matched (cut from the same panel) so the grain flows through. There is no way to assess the build quality -- but readers are correct in saying there's nothing special here. Architects have designed office furniture in exactly this mode for decades, some of it custom made and much more produced by large manufacturers. All but the cheapest have grain-matched fronts, I'd say.

It's always difficult to judge a piece with medicore photography, but I agree the build quality doesnt look very good. That said, the pulls look alot like the office furniture Jens Risom made in the 60's and 70's.
