Few days back I bought this sofa. Although askingprice was very low and the amount of honeycolored teak I got for it was rather massive, I hesitated for a moment.
Today I went to pick it up from their depot.
Over these three or four days my mind played up and all kinds of deformations and exagerations appeared for my eyes. The legs make a rather odd impression, as if they were put on upside down (they look like bowlingpins..), the broad armrest make me think of cricketbats and the solid back reminds me of chunky sailboats...
Maybe the maker of this piece of furniture had a subtile sports-theme on his mind, I don't know.

Do you have any ideas? Couldn't find any make or label.

I don't know who's behind it,
but i don't quite understand what's so disproportionate about it. It looks Scandinavian to me.

the back appears almost as...
the back appears almost as if the upper section was an afterthought.....imagine making four neat cuts with a saw, then, voila! proportionate....

I don't mind the high back,
but the baseball bat legs are rather odd. I can se the benefit of vinnyv's suggestion. It would adjust the proportions to a more modernist aesthetic and remove the 'bat'.
