I would like help identifying the source of this sculpture which is 22" long, consisting of eleven different pieces of wood screwed into a boat-shaped chunk of wood.

Voila.
Odd wooden sculpture.
The sculpture's greek to me, but at least I was able to put the pictographs of it into my own Photobucket account.
Do yourself a favor Gayle, switch to Photobucket or Flickr.

Why does this necessarily have a 'source'?
it looks like a high school shop project to me. I'm mystified as to why someone would think this is source-able.

The joke's on me, Jesgord.
The OP tried unsuccessfully to post photos in two threads-- describing her other item as a "slab vase with pictographs". I got so caught up in trying to open her photos (which wouldn't load) that I stupidly assumed that she was referring to her photos as "pictographs".
I thought it was quaint, so I referred to all her photos as pictographs. Turns out, the vase has a pictograph-like design.
Yes-- I'm an idiot.
