Thoughts? I find them to be quite pleasing.

I like the legs
Simple, unassuming. I think it would be too much if the were anything else - sort of like Girard's table for Knoll: the unusual shape of the top requires a simple support. Otherwise I feel like these would trend into that wretched 'contemporary' category, where things are overly styled just for the sake of being overly styled.

A sales rep emailed me. Seems like their dimensions were off on the site. They are quite small:
L: H 11.81" W26" D25"
M: H 9.8" W21" D19"
S: H 7.8" W18.5 D15"
I know the Eames elliptical is only 10" high, so it's not unheard of. WOuld this lowness in scale put you off? I'm not sure that it would... somehow doesn't bother me I think...
might be nice
When we moved to the new house I had an Ikea shelf laid across two Eames wire base tables (effectively replicating the height/lenght of the surfboard) It was...interesting. It was nice having the table very low and out of the way; fine for drinks, altho some leaning was involved to reach or set them down; and completely useless for eating food of any kind.
However, it might be nice for the little one to have some tables his height around.

I am still interested in these. I don't tend to use the tables for eating at all. I have a no food in the living room policy!!!!
I use them more for coffee and beer. Which should be fine. A little bending never hurt anyone.
I actually don't mind MDF on smaller furnishings. It tends to be heavy which could be good for such small tables.
