Moderica has a nice store down there with lots of bubble lamps and shell chairs DWR has a store not to far with all the originals. and so does Vitra has great stuff.
on 26st and other locations, White on White the only thing that they have that is a great deal are there Nelson clocks they are a good deal. also lots of other modern furniture stores with new ideas and cool stuff all around that area
also please check out MOMA always great. I love the place and they have a nice museum store, You might check 1st dibs as they have about 50 dealers from NYC all over the city dying to sell there stuff, Have fun go see Jersey Boys on Brodaway great fun.

Modernica sorry to see it go
i did not know they locked the doors in NYC.
i was in the store last November. I love the store on the corner were they used to be, Sicis the art mosaic factory, they are from Italy and they sell the finest glass tile in the world.
there address is 470 Broome St. Just go in and take a look at all the fabulous tile that they make in Italy. It is the neatest show room you will ever see,
we did and bought the tile for our Kitchen and it is great.
