I saw this at Herman Miller and I ordered on I think it is great and they from what I saw you can dim it to get make it real bright retails for around 500.00 really great !! enclosed is a bio of the designer glad to see that Herman Miller is coming up with new designs and Products

Yves Behar

Yves Behar is a thinker. And one thing he thinks about a lot is the future. You can see it in his designs--from his reflective red-lacquered laptop for Toshiba to his elegant closed-toe Footprints for Birkenstock to his refined Aliph Jawbone Headset for cell phones. "I believe design's purpose is not only to show us the future, but to bring us the future," he states.

The founder of fuseproject ("dedicated to the emotional experience of brands through storytelling"), Behar has been exploring the design world since his childhood in Switzerland. "In Europe, it is double nature to evaluate objects based on how they work and how they look," he explains.

Behar grew up in a bicultural home, influenced by his East German mother and Turkish father. "One is functional and modernist and the other, expressive and poetic," he says. "I always try to marry the two in my projects."

.... sorry for the typing mistakes i was trying to up load What i was trying to say was i saw this at Herman Miller and i thought it was a great lamp. It retails for around 499. It has a great dimmer on it that can make the lamp real bright I think it is going to be a big hit for them . glad to see they are bringing new designs like lighting to market something they have not done in a long time,

Leaf light?
If it's the leaf light you're talking about, I like it and have been looking to maybe get one. I also like the Jasper Morrison Glo-Ball table lamp and Luxmaster floor lamp for Flos. I'll choose one of the three eventually, any reviews or comments?

Not loving it
I've seen some of these at work...eh. They're kinda big and clunky when you see them in person. I've seen much more graceful lights for the same price. The only real positive is that the LED's are eco friendlier, and last forever.
