Hello,

I must say I hardly know design and authenticity in this area, but I want to buy an office chair and the EA 117 Aluminium Group Chair, Charles Eames 1958 seems very attractive to me (picture below). Nevertheless after having searched for a while on the web it appeared that there's a high difference between rates for what seems to be the same product. The best (really cheap) rate was found on http://www.xxx.co.uk and https://www.xxx.co.uk . Could anybody advise me on the quality of theses products and websites ? What causes these huge rates difference ? Would you trust buying these items ?

I hope some "experts" will be able to enlighten me ! Anyway thank you for reading me

stan

Hello Stan
Welcome to the forum.
These cheap chairs are bad quality unlicensed reproductions. We received many bad reports from buyers who ordered at the 2 shops that you mentioned in your message.
You have to look for the real thing manufactured by Herman Miller or Vitra if you are located in europe.
You can find the list of their resellers on the official websites:
http://www.vitra.com
