Hi gang!

I'm working on a project and I need your input and this is the best place to ask....

I need 20 design icons from the 20th century 'til today

It could be everything... like the kitchenaid mixer, to the VW beetle with the iPod in the middle... I try not to get too auto-related heavy or too furniture heavy. Tea kettles to Stark juice salif and everything in between... Icons...

Not buildings or case study houses please!!! ; )

There are MANY books that cover this subject:design icons often the title is design icons or some variation...

20 design icons... Now that'...
20 design icons... Now that's a toughie! I just don't see how just twenty would do any justice, and would leave highly subjective results. Debates would ensue and eventualy entire civilizations would crumble.

please dont include the starke salif, it may look amazing but isnt funtional enough. be sure to include the wegner shell chair, the finest exercise in wood bending around.
