So I picked up this plycraft chair. I dont believe its a eames replica. All the other plycrafts I see dont look like this and I cant seem to find info on this specific chair. It has wooden bars on the backrest instead of metal also the base is wooden. Is this chair a mr. chair? I would love the help of those much smarter than me in this area, thanks.

I believe your chair is one of the several interpretations Plycraft made of the Eames lounge chair. I've seen the two chairs below referred to as the Mr. Chair

A bit of information. I'm not sure how many 'Mr. Chairs'
their are, but i would guess a few styles were given that name.

thanks for the info. I was thinking an eames lounge replica, then i noticed a good amount of differences. also the bottom backrest and the seat are all one piece. I will be following the links and seeing if I can get some more info.
One more thing I am thinking about reupholstering it. Should I put in the buttons on the reupholstery?

it's not a mr chair, but it is definitely plycraft. i've got a few chairs with the same supports as yours and a few others with the same base...yours is likely an in between yr.
plycraft, like car manufacturers of the day made slight variations every yr, so finding your exact chair will not be easy. you'll see lots of chairs though that are very close.
it's a nice example, worth $550-700 if it's in good shape.
