I found this chair among my late father’s possessions and I was wondering if anyone recognizes it. It has no markings other than that it has Rotex rubber support straps for the bottom. The backrest had four buttons, two are missing and it has piping along the top edge separating the front and rear of the backrest. The backside of the chair is upholstered. Any help would be much appreciated!  Thanks,

@ebehne,

Looks like Kurt Olsen's model 230 for Slagelse Mobelvaerk A/S, Denmark, based on the single photo you have posted.

Regards,

Lexi.

That’s it! Thank you so much! My wife and I are about to restore it and have it reupholstered, so it really helps to know more about it.

The Slagelse chair I have is stamped underneath on the seat frame.  The number is probably hidden by upholstery if youre curious to have the stamp documented..

Zeeck

Thanks for the tip! As soon as we pull the upholstery off I’ll make sure to take a look.
