I just picked up a matching pair of arm chairs that i haven't seen before. They have no markings- i'm even having issues identifying the wood! Any ideas?
I also picked up a leather lounge (no ottoman) and have no idea as to its designer/maker.
Thanks for the help!

The Chairs
are handsome, being in the US they're probably more likely walnut than teak, but I can't really tell from the photos
Definitely research Stressles for the swivel

wow
the armchair is obviously an Ekornes. Great great great chairs.
the other 2? Not sure, but boy are they handsome. I'll poke around and see what I can find.
And they do look like teak TO ME.

They look more like Pecan...
The grain doesnt look like Teak.
They look more like Pecan wood to me, which is commonly mistaken for Walnut. If thats the case the chairs are likely American.

looking closer
I agree, not teak.
The added fussiness of the arms does not really strike me as Danish. Even P. Hvidt who liked swooping arms did so with some restraint. These strike me as either American or maybe English? I like them, though.

The lounge may be an Action I...
The lounge may be an Action Industries product. Happen to have one myself (a thrift store find) with a base so similar to the Ekornes Stressless line that people assume it is one. I believe there was some intellectual property action taken by Ekornes over this very matter.
