I'm making a folding room divider with an artist friend, his prints mounted onto board, simple wood frames with leather 'hinges'.

Anyway the whole project has inspired me to make myself some cabinets which will contain ALL my books, cd's, sketch pads, crockery, glasses, drinks, bric-a-brac etc. I want very slim wood framed panels, almost Wrightish, but with large thin 1/4" slot in panels veneered with handmade paper. I'd like to see who else this was done by and how, the only name I can find is Harvey Probber and his cane fronted cabinets, grateful for any pointers or links, Heath.

.
Paul Mccobbs work might be worth a look, his simpler stuff still looks fresh...at least to my eye.
