I'll only guess either Ico Parisi or Carlo di Carli as those are the remaining two Italian designers I know that aren't yet on the list.

Does it have anything to do with Compasso d'Oro ( if I spelled it right)? Previous recipients?

In general-yes, the idea I have no idea is not to use Google. That said, I can't think that anyone would know who 6 is....I have his name in front of me and I don't know who he is. Not Compasso d'Oro...think corporate.

I already mentioned Cassina and that is not it either. The 7 identified names all

have designs for Cassina past and present and that seems to be another common denominator here...don't know if that has to do with the corporate clue?

Cassina is the right idea but not the right manufacturer. Attached is a picture of one of the mystery man's designs. To be honest, I'm not even sure how much help the image will provide.
