My mother is visiting soon. I'm remodeling a mid century house and need to get a bed for the guest room before she arrives. Originally, I wanted the blu dot woodworks bed, but that will not be available for mos. Now I am looking at one of the modernica beds and leaning towards the case study or case study fast back. Any suggestions between the two or other beds to consider? Are these comfortable? Is there a special mattress required?

Yeah, but...
...foam mattresses vary hugely in density, and thus, comfort. That is a whole other thread, if not forum (and I'm sure there are already many dedicated to the subject).
How old is your mother? Those beds look a bit low to the floor for old people. Maybe not spry old folks, though.

I also like no. 1 the best. My mother is 61, but very active and fit and young for her age. She either hikes, bikes or kayaks every day. I dont know anything about foam mattresses. Can anyone recommend one?
