Any ideas or pics of favorites? I will need to get patio furniture soon for a mcm home I'm remodeling with new pool but unfortunately, at this point it has cost so much that all I might be able to afford is IKEA.
I really like Richard Schultz and Walter Lamb.

I don't like replacing fabric slings and vinyl straps
especially when the replacements carry Richard Schultz prices, so my outdoor furniture is all-steel. These chairs are on the small side, but if you fit -- Mark would -- they're comfortable for hours. Maurizio Tempestini for Salterini, c. 1952-1955:
Love Schultz furniture
A number of years ago I bought used Schultz lounge chairs - maybe vintage not sure, $500 each and of course the slings were trashed so I figured no big deal I'll replace them. Not! The slings were quite expensive so let it slide. Now that my deck off the living room will be rebuilt in the new year we're planning on having those chairs refinished and buying new slings... nearly a grand a piece.. nuts. Those chairs are beautifully designed and so comfortable though. They go perfectly with my midcentury house.
I'm concerned the slings might be tough to put on, I hope not.
.
I have Schultz/66 on two of my patio's..one being an older set with the Knoll labels, and the other a newer set with the Richard Schultz labels (partially pictured above). The older Knoll set has a slightly different pattern to the weave of the slings that appears to be not quite as durable(nor as thick) as the newer Richard Schultz slings. But the painted (powder coat?) finish is holding up much better on the older Knoll pieces.
Carry on!
