Hey everyone,
I'm looking to round out my modern design with a few more pieces to sit around the apartment. I have been collecting penguins since I was a child. Since college, I have gotten rid of the 'cheapy-looking' penguin figurines and only kept the really nice ones. I also have several fish figurines (I especially love sharks). Most of the figurines I have kept are the nice crystal ones. Most are not modern-looking with the exception of a really cool miniature wooden penguin where it dismantles and every section of the penguin becomes a type of spinning top. I'm looking for some modern penguin and fish designs to add to my collection. I'd also like some cats too. I have a couple modern cat figurines already and a couple modern cat wall pieces. I love me some kitty-cats. I even have a real live one named Benson. Have some fish too. Two clownfish named Pedro and Lucita and a tail-spot blenny named Lenny the Blenny. I love animals but cats, penguins, and fish (sharks especially) are my favorites. So I'd like to add some modern representations to my decor. Thanks for any suggestions!
I have

I generally regard animal figurines with disdain.
Then I remembered that I'm a big, fat, cat-figurine-owning hypocrite! Not one, not two, not three, but FOUR (dusty) cat figurines have I.
(But, please-- I beseech you to keep all information about my collection within the strictest confidence! Once you're identified as a collector of cat figurines, all hell breaks loose and people start giving them to you as Christmas gifts-- "I saw this, and thought of YOU".)
In my defense,
I acquired them one by one while thrifting, after my previous cat went to that big litter box in the sky. (I was out of my head with grief, your honor-- that's how I ended up with so many cat figurines!)
Woodywood-- The ferocious-looking big one is Pre-Colombian, or at least pretends to be.
my cats
I'm not a cat person at all but I love these two. The teak one is marked "Made in Denmark" and the other has no marks but looks a lot like a Walter Bosse...except it's steel, not brass. Is that kosher for Bosse? I love Walter Bosse animals, btw. I would like one of each of everything he made.
