So I've heard the quality of the reproduction Herman Miller Nelson miniature chests is not up to par. Is this true?

They actually have two sizes...
They actually have two sizes available. The tall skinny one and a more horizontal one. I wish they'd remake the one that's kin do boxy with the drawers on one side and the white door on the other.

Very nice
We have the 6 drawer on pedestal base and it's really nice. The construction is solid and the drawers slide in and out smooth. We has first seen it in person at the Herman miller Showroom in San Francisco, we then ordered one within a week. A couple times a week I enjoy to open a drawer just to smell the Teak.
