my wife, in her usual style, came home with another great find from the good will.

it's a shelving unit made of wrought iron. it measures about 6' long and it's about 10" deep.

it somewhat resembles that whole mccobb iron thing, but we haven't been able to track it down anywhere.

any thoughts?

Do you suppose it's complete? That middle right shelf seems to be floating unsupported on one side, odd...

The half shelf seems to be intentional. The edges are finished so it seems as though its meant to float like that. I suppose it possible that it was replaced or something along the way. I have no idea. This one has stumped me..

maybe..
maybe the small staggered shelf is intentional so that you can place a tall statue or tall books on the lower shelf without the upper shelf obstruction?
