Dear all, yesterday at the local flea market I bumped into a magazine entitled "Design from scandinavia", published by World Pictures. I found on the internet that they started to print it in 1967 and I do not know whether there are issues coming still. Mine is the number 15, printed in 1988. I think they printed an issue every two years or so. I found some more online for sale, with prices varying between 300 and 30 dollars.
I do not know whether there is anything like this, but I find this series quite good. Do you know where to find the whole collection? Because they started to print in 1967, for some aspects it could fill the gap left by the "40 years of Danish design", although these magazines do not exclusively cover furniture but objects, textiles and other design stuff as well. I have posted a picture with some Wegner chairs (Getama), just as a connection (but they are not the same chairs) to a recent discussion in the Identification section of this forum, about two Wegner's chairs from the 80es too.
What impresses me most of the furniture displayed in this issue is that there is no piece made out of teak!
