Our personal luxury?
I find very close to Heath n Barrymps feelings on luxury, it,s great to find luxury in things that are at our hands.
May be between other things I,d choose a book.
And one day have a wall, that crosses the house from the beginning to the end, 2 or 3 high floors tall, full of books, many of them in all the different translation have been written. The wall will became a mural or a paint. + a chair. And most of all, the time and the peace of mind to read.
To travel to meet different peoples, different cultures, so different points of view.
And some things more,

Dear Heath:
Don,t agree with you when you don,t find luxury in other,s pleasure,s luxury.
As a designer it,s interesting and important to see and to ,,feel,, why other people feel luxury on other things, different than us.
I really want to feel , for a little moment, the same that:
The Japanese:
little Japanses flats stuffed with luxury goods, does that make it a luxurious place to live
Or the secretary:
5 hermes scarves that some secretary went without food for.
Yes, yes, yes, I really want to feel that.

BY THE WAY...
I was thinking luxurity through design. As an exercise, as an experimentation.
It,s harder to me to write, I express myself better though drawing and designs.
I was thinking on that symbols that are synonymous of luxurity.
A crown, etc.
If shortage is neded, give the opposite.
Detect/find the way that goods are perceived as luxury.
Heath, heath, we need to help that secretary.
Why not to design a bag in which she could feel the same and spend less.
Or show her that she is wrong.
