Interesting site!
The idea of wholesale vintage had never really occurred to me - sourcing items isn't reliable enough for anyone. And these prices do seem to reflect that. I think you might stuggle, unless your market is particularly financially indiscriminate (I can think of some cities in Asia where this might be the case).
My friend is a dealer. He ordered a shipment of stuff from Eastern Europe for his shop... kind of a big investment in an attempt to have something a little unusual. I helped him unpack it at the warehouse. Some of the stuff was nice, but most of it arrived damaged and he regrets the whole thing.
Beyond finding any person or people to supply your pieces, reliable shipping is going to be your biggest obstacle. If you can get that in place, you should be able to eventually line up a number of suppliers, but I don't know how regularly you'll be able to re-up and you'll have almost no control over the quality. Your prices will have to be rather high. Feel free to email me at gmalegmayel@gmail.com.
I think your best bet, especially when starting is to simply book a ticket to Denmark (but to be fair, the best pieces don't always come from there, there's just a lot more of it and easier to find).
Go as far away from Kopenhagen (inflated prices) as you can, and find some of the "warehouse sellers", bring loads of cash money and you'll be surprised of the deals you can make. I understand retailers will be very happy to sell to you, but they also have to take their cut. Unfortunately buying on distance is only recommended once you have established a good relationship with a supplier and reliable shipper.
