I am also looking for lamp makers Michael and Frances Higgens they did really cool lamps in the 50's and early 60's Has any one seen any of their lamps.

The last name is Higgins (rather than Higgens) -- this may aid in your quest for their designs. I have seen a few of their lamps -- their successors sell rondelay lanterns through their webstore -- http://www.higginsglass.com/ -- if that's something you're interested in. I've got a few Higgins pieces at the moment, but personally would really love to have a rondelay screen someday. However, at $240/sq ft, I'm afraid my bankbook won't allow it!

I saw one of there lamps at a estate sale and i wrote the name down very fast so i misspelled it .. the lamp they had was great at the sale they want 2500.00 and would not budge on the price saying it was a original from the owners collection . i thought it must have been something important to be that much at a small estate sale.
