some additional information, maybe that will help: chair no. 2 (brown leather) probably is from denmark - there is an etching of a danish plastic company ("dansk bakelit industri a/s - 636"). any idea? thanks in advance!

the 2nd chair
Hi there the first chair is one i have never seen before.
the second chair is an early ekorness of norway chair.
They made swivel recliners with that chrome frame and their patented easy reclining system
They today are best known as stresless chairs
