Hi people,

A couple of weeks ago I spotted a lounge chair on a brand's website, but for some reason I can't seem to find it anymore.

Description:

A loungechair in black or white (plastic i presume) with a sheep woolskin attached on the top. I'm not sure but it's possible it's a rocking chair.

It's not vintage, something that was designed in the past 10 years.

Hope you can help me out!

It's been around for a few...
It's been around for a few years but now it also comes in various wood surfaces besides the original plastic version.
My father has one he bought directly from the designer (who lives in the same town). It's very nice and the large shell allows you to sit in many ways. Try it out, when see one.
The only I don't like is the white woolskin. It's a nice detail and looks great, esp. with the additional black leather cushion, but after a few months the woolskin turns completely dark yellow. Also, I've always thought that the rocking base was sort of under-designed. I like how fx. Charles Eames combined the metal rods with wooden runners on the rocking base for their shell chairs. On this Stingray chair, it seems like Thomas Sørensen skipped over the design rather quickly.
But all in all it's a great and comfortable chair to relax in and read a book or enjoy the view. I usually sit almost sideways with my legs on one of the shell's front corners.
