Does someone have any idea who designed and/or produced the pendant lamp from the picture. It is black lacquered metal/aluminium on the outside and white on the inside. I have only a part of a sticker with the text ??lmegaard and taklampa on it. They've been bought late sixties/early seventies in Denmark! lmegaard might be from Holmegaard, although they fabric glass design

I have the idea that Tom Dixons' Beat series (2006) is inspired on these lamps 🙂 see http://www.tomdixon.net/products/beat-light-wide mixed with Fog&Morup (semi) and Wirkkala influences.

what I meant to say was of course that this design is very far from looking anything like Dixon's lamps.
I suggest you buy a few books a look into the history of lamp design in the 20th century. There are many lamps which has a closer resemblance to your lamp, than Dixon's and, on the other hand, many lamps which might have served as an inspiration to Dixon.

Maybe, you can give me a clue? I haven't found one except for
Did Holmegaard ever made lamps without the use of glass or was there another company in Holmegaard that made lamps? Or is there another company/designer that has the letters lmegaard in it?
btw - For fun not for the beauty of it I have a 'Jack'-lamp myself, so i do know Dixons' (born 1959) oeuvre hasn't the same quality as my lamps from the late sixties/early seventies. I just wanted to point out that in my view those Scandinavian woodheads made some very modern good quality material and fabricated designs far ahead of their time.
