Hi all,
I am trying to figure out which brands of Danish furniture were sold in France in the 60s (and by whom).
I found these vintage Roche & Bobois ads online and cannot manage to ID everything on my own... I thought it could be a fun game to share here as well 😉
I am more interrested in the maker than the designer.
I have 4 ads. Here is the first one (undated).
* Stools/Side tables from Kolds Savvaerk (Nanna Ditzel).
* Night stand from CFC Silkeborg (J. Andersen).

Ad n°2 (1963).
* Cado wall unit in rosewood.
Any thoughts on the rest? lounge chairs and side tables look awfully familiar...

Ad n°3 (1965).
* Glostrup coffee table (Grete Jalk).
* France & Son Minerva table (Hvidt).
* Green sofas by France & Son (Hvidt).
* The orange lounge chairs on the right pictures look like France & Son, Jeppesen (Jalk) or Glostrup (Eriksen). Hard to tell...

ok, so far I have France & Son, Cado, P. Jeppesen and Glostrup. Makes sense as all four produced knock down construction furniture (easier and cheaper to transport).
Johannes Andersen pieces (CFC and Uldum) are fairly common in France and were imported by a French company called Samcom. It also makes sense to find them here.
The stools from Ditzel are more of an anomaly here.
Any thoughts about the rest?
Many thanks!

The pieces in the second post with the rosewood cado unit look like kristian vedel "modus" chairs for Soren Willadsen.

The wall unit on the left in #3 appears to be HG Møbler. There are Hans Olsen for Vatne lounge chairs / sofas. I think the chair with its back to us in the center of #4 is Wegner for Carl Hansen.

I think the wall unit on the left in #4 is Ivan Gern (Eyvind Johansson design).

Oh, and the tops of the chairs down on the bottom right are generally said to be Farstrup or Billund. Very similar in form and construction to some made by FDB

The freestanding wall unit in #3 is Brouers Møbelfabrik. The "V system".

Looks to me like the range is pretty wide. I don't see anything on the cabinetmaker uber high end. But then there really isn't a lot of that anywhere. Except Denmark. And I'm still not sure that anyone would say there is a lot there.
