MY father started the legomatic company in the early 30's with a partner. The furniture factory was in Bridgeport, Conn. My family and I still have several pieces. They are in excellent condition after 70 years. My father passed away in 1952 and the company wenr out of business in the late 50's. They cannot be duplicated!!! They are NFS.

Original Set
I just purchased a set of 4 chairs and table from an Estate sale where the owner had no children and this set is in Excellent condition still with most tags under the chairs and table, the table has a green inset of vinyl as well as two of the chairs matching that. When I heard it was a Bridgeport based company I was definitely intrigued, so much manufacturing came out of Bridgeport back then. I am a custom furniture and cabinet designer/builder with a small shop in Bridgeport and acn truly appreciate these pieces although I don't think I will keep them but really feel that they are very very special. Thanks, Tony
