Confusing
It is an authentic LCW, but parts of it do not quite make sense. 5-2-5 bolt pattern was characteristic of Evans, but the foil label indicates Herman Miller production (mid to late 1950s).

Evans had
Evans had production until 1949 when manufacture moved to Michigan. I wonder if this was old stock that moved, or possibly the label fell off and was replaced with the current one. THe placement of the label is a little wierd - all Evans labels I've seen are stuck right under the front lip of the seat.
Still, a gorgeous chair - along with most of the other items the seller has for sale.

That is a strange sticker...
That is a strange sticker placement. Have you inquired with the seller about the history of this piece? Might shed some light.
Another thing to consider is perhaps the seat was replaced with a later version. Wouldn't account for the well matched graining and finish.

and the backrest looks like...
I thought the embossed rectangular labels (with rounded corners) were the labels that were used during this period. Is that wrong?
Also, the backrest looks like it's on a bit crooked to me...
