Hey people. I just got delivery of a new Ross Lovegrove Fluidium (lava lamp). And I gotta admit, it looks pretty damn cool. It's green and has green blobby stuff in a clear liquid. I sat it on my Saarinnen tulip side table next to my eames lounge and ottoman and it seems to like it there. Any comments. Don't worry I can take it.

I can't do the lava lamp thing. They came back in "style" in the early 90s and several people bought them for me, albeit cheaper version for little faux-hippie stores. From there on out they just scream "juvenile" to me.

And it does have the name of a famous designer attached to it. I think I may however be doing my beautiful Eames Lounge chair/ottoman a disservice however. But heck...it is kinda pretty and it casts a lovely green glow in the evening.
