show us what you've made, restored or destroyed.

Here is a studio apartment that I've "restored" or destroyed depending on your point of view

I put a new concrete porch on my 1950's house. It was a big improvement over the original, which had broken in half and sunk into the ground at a crazy angle.

I recently refinished a shell chair. The fabric was good, but the padding was reduced to cornmeal... before and after shot.
I also built a gas pipe and reclaimed wood shelving unit.

path to the front of my house. After a couple of years of walking across the grass and contemplating slab shapes....I finally went with large flagstone.

Great thread
Adam,
Is that a min bed? The apartment looks great. Just curious - what color/shade of white are the walls?

good question
The walls are shell white in an eggshell surface and trim a bright white in semi gloss. As for the bed, I don't know what you're asking me but I can tell you it was pine that I painted the same as the trim. I had a very tight budget for all the work and I had to make some compromises but all in all I'm happy with the outcome.

Min bed
Sorry, I was asking if it was the "min bed" from design within reach. Looking closer now I can tell it isn't. Cool bed though. I like the min bed for our place but it's too expensive.

Well...
...I spent the last six months feverishly cleaning, culling, tossing, rearranging, painting, repairing, and finishing our 1956 split level in order to sell it. And then it sold in 4 days so I had to quick find a new place to live (instead of taking my time) because the buyers wanted to close in 30 days. So I guess the last thing I did was to try to make this bland, boring (and teeny) rental townhouse with wall-to-wall beige carpet look like my home. It's not quite done so I'm not quite going to post pics but it's getting there. I think. Mostly I would like the last thing I've done is to lay on a warm beach somewhere for a week. Maybe later.

It's fine
Once I build it they are free to do what ever they prefer. I'm just thankful to have the work. And yes, that is the plan. Thanks for the kind words.
