The last thread was getting a little long so I am starting another to show my newest acquisition and see all the wonderful items (this is how I learned of the Timo Sarpaneva, Saturnus pot for Rosenlew) others have gotten in the last eighteen days.

A little over two weeks ago I got the Ernesto Gismondi Metacolor metamorfosi floor lamp as an accent piece for my dining room and today I just purchased the Gae Aulenti, Tour table for Fontana Arte. I now own one of nine pieces in the United States and my landed cost was $2,000.00 new in the original packaging. I will use the existing four Mies van der Rohe, stainless steel black Volo leather flat bar Brno chairs for Knoll Studio®.

I am glad that I do not have a small child that requires protection against the edges or thinks it is a riding toy.

A pal of mine found 59 arm shells in some dude's warehouse. The guy knows what they are but want them gone. He bought them all for $7.50 USD each! All different bases including rocker, eiffel and dowel!
He's giving me a dowel arm shell (medium blue or orange)!

59 arm shells
whitespike,
That is a great find and a good friend. As this area (mid-century modern) is of little interset to me, I am assuming you mean Eames chairs. Once again, very nice. Good for you and your friend.
Krenit,
Thank you for your wisdom.

He will be selling most all of them. Maybe keep a couple. If anyone is interested you can contact me directly as this is not appropriate on this board.

Good chance he'll put an ad up on our Radar section, with my prodding of course 😉

Very rarely I buy new things but I was a bit jealous of the Willy Guhl planter posted earlier and wanted something a bit nicer than the orange plastic tub I was using before, found these really cheap truncated cone pots with an ash white glaze, tommorow will get another big and another small and bolt them together, its just one on top of another if it's not obvious.
