Thanks, all
Heath, it's anchored to two cement blocks worth out much slack so that it stays oriented the way it is. We wanted to be able to see them coming and going from up at the (big) house.
The launch was fun---tightly orchestrated so that we wouldn't be in the water any longer than necessary. I had to take a couple of small loose parts and some scissors out there and I tied them all to sticks so they'd float if dropped---one of my smarter moves. The whole pond had thin ice that morning so the water was quite cold. But in the end we only had bare arms up to the elbows in the water and then only for a minute. The waders kept a lot of the cold out.

Nice light!
SDR, the ducks left. A hawk started coming around and every time, the ducks would get nervous and leave. They didn't have any ducklings yet but in some part of their little duck brains they knew the hawk was a threat to their species.
BUT, a bunch of Eastern painted turtles came out of hibernation in the mud and they come up on the deck of the house to bask, so it wasn't a total waste of time and effort. And the ducks might come back next year, who knows.
A sofa and a wall unit
Thanks to Rockland and Spanky for all their advices.
Soon more details on the two already dedicated threads.
Some parts were hard to do, but not necessarily what we imagined would.
Of course, no design credits on these two, but it was quite a journey, and a hell of a woodworking job.
cheers
Thanks pals

The funny thing is the little flat is popular housing from mid-century too (Which means pretty ugly outside...) and every day we can feel how much these light and modular pieces of furniture perfectly fits a tiny interior...
As for the view, the chinese door is our personnal tribute to the prisoner (can't think of a show that was so hype by the time it was made : lava lamp and ball chair were almost leaving their factories the same year)
