I like everyone's "acquisition" list, but there's got to be a "I wish I hadn't bought this" list.

My personal albatross was this Danish(-ish) sofa set. We just sold this sofa set for cheap, pending pickup this Sunday. After dragging it upstairs, we hated every configuration we put it in, before realizing that we disliked the set itself. Funny enough, after all of our "glamour shots," we got lots of inquiries about it. MCM is hard to find in Nebraska... but those paddleboard arms... yack (!).

My much loved Wassily chairs
Sadly, they just didn't work in our new home...I am much more in love with my Womb chair and I just didn't have a good spot for the Wassilys.
Luckily, I was able to barter them with my builder. I got upgrades to our new house and he has two cool chairs to stage his modernist pueblo style homes with.

Coincidence
The last pieces of furniture I disposed of were also Wassily chairs; I sold them five years ago, along with an Eileen Gray E1027 replica, for $150 to the kid from next door who was moving to his own apartment.
I'd had them for nearly a decade, in five houses and condos, but they just didn't look right no matter where I put them. I was glad to see them go to a person who'd appreciate them.

I have the same problem
I have a Wassily chair which just doesn't do it ,no matter what room I place it in.It takes up a good deal of room, considering it's not bulky, but that's a big frame.I actually have it in the spare room, which is sparsely furnished.
