Cute teak bowl from an estate sale. I grabbed a whole bunch of danish serving items - a relish tray, this nutbowl and a beautiful round tray - oh, and a metal tray from England with a picture of a peacock on it, all for $1.50.
I love when I get something from an estate sale because I feel good about giving the items a new home where they will be loved. 🙂

or what i thought before i got there, i discovered it to be a vintage example along with a meridian ceramic one....i tried to give the nice gentleman more money but he refused as he just needed to get rid of the stuff.

We just got this Finn Juhl table.

Today, I purchased my...
Today, I purchased my first piece('s) of Paul McCobb "contempri" white platters. A Goodwill thrift purchase where I snagged all 8 for less than $10. These are probably pretty common but I couldn't resist the shape, and I only allow white dishes (mix and match are fine..) into my kitchen. Food always tastes better on a white plate. I'm leaving one out on the sideboard. I want more.
